Kate Landers

Kate  began  painting  seriously  on  her return  to live  in  Kerry  –  inspired  by  the  natural  beauty  and  creative   influences  abounding  there.   The  landscape,  local  history  &  diverse  plant  & bird life  of  the  area  provide   much  subject  material.  She  has  studied  with  Mark Eldred  but  is  largely  self-taught, using  oils,  acrylics  and  pencil.   Her  work  has  featured  in  many  exhibitions  in  Ireland  &  in  New York  &  Chicago, and  can  be  found  in  private  collections  throughout  Europe,  as  well  as  in  the  United  States,  New  Zealand  &  Australia.
