Annascaul is the place to be on New Years Eve to celebrate the last event of the year. Everybody Welcome!!
Assemble at the old bridge in Annascaul Village at 11.45pm. Count down to midnight from 11.55pm – 12.00pm, then we will follow the bell ringer and pipers on our walk up and down the village to give an enormous Annascaul welcome to 2017!!!
Can you hear that distant jingle-ing? Annascaul Singing Club opens the doors to everyone again at Pathceens Pub on Thursday the 15th December from 9pm. If you have a favourite Christmas song or carol come and give it an airing. Otherwise sing whatever takes yer fancy.
On 17th of December at 4.30 pm the Falvey sisters, Lily and Hannah will ceremonially light up the Annascaul village Christmas tree on behalf of the Annascaul Tidy Towns Action Group. Donated by the Courtney Brothers the tree will mark not only the start of the festive season locally.
So do don your Santy hat on the 17th and come along for the lighting up and sing a few carols. Celebrate Annascaul and help light up the future of the village for everyone and especially the children who will be represented on the night by Lily and Hannah.
The heart of the Dingle Peninsula: the village of Annascaul lies among mountains, lakes and streams and is surrounded by history and beauty.
