For those of you who missed John Hanafin’s recent, fascinating Walk Through the Village, you will have another opportunity on Friday, April 22nd, starting from the old bridge at 7pm. John brings the village of yester year to life with stories of attempted murder, horse chases, escaped murderers and burials of foreign sailors. If you would like to follow in the footsteps of the Annascaul Volunteers 100 years ago, and walk from Annascaul to Tralee on Saturday morning, April 23rd starting at 2am, contact John on 9157348.
If any children would like to dress up in period clothes and join the walk on Friday eve they are very welcome. Patricia Sharpe has lots of waistcoats and a few jackets etc if children want to borrow them. We can meet in hanafins at 6.45.
