All roads lead to Annascaul Village this weekend for the 8th Annual beerfest.
OK, let’s work our way backwards. Shake off the hangover on Sunday morning and come down to the village green to the food stalls and craft beer tasting stall which will be serving a 12 year old cask aged beer amongst a selection of Irish craft beers. We will also be selling any remaining merchandise here.
Bring the kids and let them entertain themselves on the bouncy castle or get their face painted. Purchase a duck off of one of the guys selling outside the South Pole Inn and watch as they float down river at about 3:30pm. The winner takes away €100 each time. Stick around for the performance by ‘Drum ‘n’ Dance’ at about the same time.
Following this, make your way to Hanafins Bar Annascaul and partake or observe the Open Mic at 5pm (Raffle draw will be during Open Mic). Raffle prizes include €80 Benners meal voucher and €100 Dingle Climbing Wall voucher.
Following this head to Teach Teac Seáin Bar & BnB for a performance by Dingle duo Scannal at 7pm. After sampling all of the imported and craft beers over the weekend you may fancy a change of pace, so head to The Randy Cocktail Bar (Randy Leprechaun) where we will be serving a selection of cocktails and a silent disco from 10pm to round off proceedings.
